    Platform Binnenklimaatlabel processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

    Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us via the helpdesk, we will then delete this information.

    The Indoor Climate Label Platform processes your personal data for the following purposes:

    How long we retain personal data

    The Indoor Climate Label Platform does not retain your personal data for any longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected.

    Sharing personal data with third parties

    Platform Binnenklimaatlabel does not sell your data to third parties and will only disclose it if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. Platform Binnenklimaatlabel remains responsible for these processing activities.

    Platform Binnenklimaatlabel uses your data, with your consent, to send email campaigns and to inform you about Binnenklimaatlabel’s products and services. For this purpose, we use ActiveCampaign, a third party that processes data on our behalf and is based outside the EU. The transfer of data takes place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

    The Indoor Climate Label platform uses only technical and functional cookies, as well as analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are essential for the technical functioning of the website and to ensure your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferred settings. They also enable us to optimise our website. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your web browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete any information previously stored via your browser settings.

    View, edit or delete data

    You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you may have given for the processing of your personal data, or to object to the processing of your personal data by Platform Binnenklimaatlabel eYou also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation of your choice.

    You may send a request to access, rectify, erase or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to the helpdesk. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photograph, the MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), your passport number and your Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Platform Binnenklimaatlabel would also like to point out that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.     The Indoor Climate Label Platform takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
