Van Nelle Fabriek is the first event venue to be awarded an Indoor Climate Label

Tuesday 23 May 2023 – On the final day of WorkPlace Xperience was presented by Remi Hompe, chairman of the Indoor Climate Technology Foundation, the Indoor Climate Label to Vincent Penseel, director of the Van Nelle Factory.

The Indoor Climate Label indicates whether your building is healthy based on four factors: air, light, climate and noise. The Indoor Climate Label provides insight into a building’s performance. It offers real-time insight 365 days a year through visual inspection, data from sensor technology and feedback from occupants.

Van Nelle Factory

The WorkPlace Xperience took place at the Van Nelle Factory, where Binnenklimaat Label was also present. The Van Nelle Factory has long been synonymous with a healthy working and living environment, and this trend has been continued, amongst other things, with a new air purification system that naturally neutralises 99.9% of all harmful micro-organisms, such as spores, bacteria and viruses. “As a premier venue, we want to offer the very best to our guests, but certainly also to our own staff – not to mention the many dozens of temporary workers who work here every day on major events. A safe and natural indoor environment is an indispensable part of that,” says Vincent Penseel, general manager of Van Nelle Fabriek Events.

This makes the Van Nelle Factory the first event venue in the Netherlands to hold an Indoor Climate Label covering air quality, noise, lighting and ventilation.

WorkPlace Xperience

The WorkPlace Xperience is returning to the Van Nelle Factory in 2024. The next edition of the WorkPlace Xperience will take place on 12 and 13 March 2024. We look forward to seeing you there!
